Hiring the Best Talent in Less Time

OHR_TA Recruitment (P2F) Process_A3 Report. 5.10.17 (2)_Page_02The Department of Human Resources’ Talent and Acquisition Team (OHR-TA) believe that good processes can always be better processes. Their mission is to be “proactive, consistent partners that attract, recruit, and guide the placement of top talent” for the City & County of Denver.

Since the beginning of the Denver Peak Academy (Peak) Partnership with OHR-TA in October of 2016, OHR-TA has taken creative and innovative actions to identify and execute against their Wildly Important Goal (WIG): decrease the number of days it takes to hire top talent for the City & County of Denver by 37% over the course of two years.

Event ClipsEquipped to generate and execute innovations to solve their own process’ issues.  To date, OHR-TA has identified and completed over ten innovations and eight workshops.

Together, through synergy, and a set of tools from the Peak toolbox, OHR-TA has decreased the time it takes to recruit, interview, and extend an offer to the top talent of Denver by 25 days (to date). They plan on hitting their WIG by the end of 2017.
